Minimum guidelines by F.E.D.I.A.F. Early Growth 1/1
Once the puppy has been weaned, start by feeding 4-6% of the puppy's ideal body weight per day, ideally spread over three or four meals per day.
Once the puppy reaches around 5-6 months of age, you may reduce the number of feeds to twice per day, and gradually reduce the amount to be fed to around 2-3% by the time the dog has achieved full size.
Remember - smaller breed dogs mature much faster than bigger breeds. We therefore suggest that a terrier should be fed the adult quantity of Nutriment by the time they reach around 10 months of age - whereas a Great Dane puppy will still require 4-6% for the first 18 months.
*Nutriment foods are intended to be fed to your dog raw, to mimic the raw meat, bones, fruit and vegetables the animal would eat naturally in the wild.
To defrost the product, we suggest leaving somewhere cool (not warm) overnight. If you forget to take food out to defrost, you may microwave it on defrost, but be careful NOT to allow the food to cook.
If the food is still partially frozen at feeding time, add some warm water from a kettle and allow to sit for five minutes.
You should therefore never cook our products before feeding to your pet
If you’re new to raw feeding, or want to find out more, take a look at the Nutriment Website, or at the advice pages in this website
Our pets are important to us, and as such we are passionate about providing high quality food and products. As animal lovers, we want to contribute to the wellbeing of all animals, and wherever possible we support companies who share these ethics by having regard for the welfare of farm animals, and by not performing invasive, unethical tests on animals. We also work hard to develop relationships with smaller, ethical companies who we can actually talk to about their ingredients and values. We do not stock aversive training aids such as choke collars, shock collars or corrector sprays.
